Have you noticed how we’re in information overload right now?
We can literally listen to and see things about COVID-19 every moment of the day. We hear about where the masks are, what testing regime is happening around the world and what’s happening for our schools. And while it’s all true and all-important, it’s starting to suck us into the negativity vortex where it becomes all we think and care about.
Sometimes its good to escape. But how do you do that?
In this short 2-minute video, Diana shares two top tips to help you escape and improve your mindset in these testing times.

Good morning all,
Hope you are all having a kick arse of a day.
Thanks for the video Di. Vortex of Negativity – I / We could easily be sucked into the doom and gloom of the situation and join all the other sheep. It is a crucial time to be a shepherd and not a sheep. I will lead with enthusiasm and set short term goals / objectives for me and my team. I concentrate on the can do’s for work and social time. Too many people say I can’t go to the gym , pool etc etc. I can walk my dog twice a day, I can do my AA meeting on line with my home group, I can download a program exercises to do at home, I can sit with my team and construct a training program, Internal and External to increase sales, I don’t watch the first 15 minutes of the news, I can play in the golf comp. That’s a lot of can do’s to keep me busy.
We will be positive, We will be leaders and WE WILL NEVER STOP FIGHTING UNTILL THE FIGHT IS WON.
Thanks Di, it is overwhelming right now and you worry if you don’t listen to all the news you may miss something vital. I plan to practice this over the next four days to see if this assists my thoughts. Thank you
Great tips, Di! Choosing what we listen to and read is SO important right now, and has such an impact on our psychological well-being. Love your story about your walk this morning, inspires me over here in Aotearoa NZ! Kia kaha.
